You will need to make your own travel arrangements, which are not included in our quoted price, and we will meet you at either Bergerac airport or Gourdon rail station and drive you to Mas de Flory.
Transfers are included in the price.
Your cycling holiday starts on a Sunday and ends the following Saturday (6 nights).
Walking and wine days vary.
If your flights do not coincide with our dates (i.e. you can arrive on a Saturday rather than a Sunday) we can arrange alternative accommodation on the Saturday night for you - please ask.
From UK
Bergerac is our nearest airport and is well served with budget flights from the UK. With Ryanair you can fly direct from:
- London Stanstead
- Luton
- Bristol
- Nottingham (East Midlands)
- Liverpool
- Dublin - via Stanstead
- Exeter
- Southampton
- London Gatwick
- Birmingham
- Leeds
- Edinburgh
Please note that there is a new airport opening at Brive (just 45 mins from us) in June 2010 which is planned to have flights from the UK with Flybe and/or Ryanair. Routes are still under discussion, but we will update when we know more.
You can also fly to Toulouse from the UK with
- Easyjet from Bristol and Gatwick
- Ireland with Aer Lingus
- Birmingham with Flybe
There is an easy rail transfer from Toulouse to Gourdon. Where we would pick you up.
If you prefer to travel by rail (from the UK) you could take the Eurostar from London to Paris-Gare du Nord (less than 2hrs 30mins).
From Paris there is a direct line from Paris-Austerlitz to Gourdon (approx 5hrs).
If you are flying from outside Europe, Paris, Austerlitz station is approximately 5 hours by train from Gourdon. Alternatively you could take an internal flight from Paris to Toulouse (a lovely city for a stopover visit), which is then 90 minutes by rail from Gourdon.
Taking the train is simply the way to travel in France.
Not only is it great value for money, it's also a fantastic way to see more of this beautiful country - and you can easily connect with trains going to other countries too.
