Location
This is a beautiful and unspoilt area of France - the Lot is one of the largest and least populated departments. Explore the widely varying terrain from lush river valley to gently rolling countryside, to shady green forest and rocky limestone causse.
Mas de Flory is situated on the edge of a small village in the Bouriane area of the Lot. The village has a bar, shop, post office and auberge.
Gourdon is the nearest town - it has a medieval centre of yellow-stone houses cladding a prominent hilltop - with 360 degree far-reaching views. With an interesting history, a good range of shops and bars /restaurants and a great market, it's definitely worth a visit.

Rocamadour
Rocamadour, a mediaeval settlement and renowned site for pilgrims which clings precariously to dramatic limestone cliffs, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in France and is within easy reach – we offer an optional half-day visit during your stay.

Food
If food is an important element in the enjoyment of your holiday then we promise you won’t be disappointed when you stay with us!
We’re passionate about food!
Every morning we’ll provide a fantastic fresh spread of crusty baguettes, croissants, pains au raisins, fresh fruit, home-made jams, yogurt, ham and cheese, so you can fuel up before the day’s ride.
Each evening we’ll prepare you a delicious meal of several courses with wine and coffee, made from top quality produce. We try to source all our ingredients locally, from markets and farms, as well as our own garden, so you get to experience the real taste of the terroir and French regional cuisine at its seasonal best.
See sample menus here
For lunch we leave you free to choose - a snack at one of our suggested venues en route or maybe stop at a market and buy some fresh bread, cheese and fruit for a picnic by the river.
(Please note that lunches are not included within the holiday price).
